Meet The Team Clare L. Nolan

Clare L. Nolan

Clare Nolan has over 14 years of legal experience, with a focus on litigation, trials, and appeals. She is licensed to practice in Georgia, Maryland, the District of Columbia and Alaska. Clare received her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Notre Dame and went on to pursue a Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

After graduating from law school at the Catholic University Columbus School of Law in May 2005, Clare Nolan moved to Georgia to become a public defender. Clare Nolan has represented children and adults charged with the most minor offenses all the way up to serious felonies. Ms. Nolan has been first chair on a couple dozen jury trials.

Before law school and becoming a lawyer, Ms. Nolan served as a volunteer with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and worked in Refugee Resettlement with Catholic Charities in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by her work at Catholic Social Services in Atlanta. Clare continues to be involved in certain Catholic and volunteer organizations. She recently participated in the Catholic Charities Leadership Program (Atlanta) in 2018.

When she is not working, Clare enjoys playing sports with the Atlanta Gaelic Athletic Association and the Atlanta Lacrosse League, and running with her dog, Stella. As the youngest of six with 27 nieces and nephews, she always looks forward to reunions and occasions for celebration with her sizable family.
