Marissa considers herself a native Georgia peach, despite having been born in New England. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the University of South Carolina, and began her nursing career at a level one trauma center in Tampa. She has since mastered a multitude of subspecialties including critical care, cardiology, post anesthesia care, and nursing management. When she's not scouring through medical records, you'll find her at the gym, obsessing over her latest romantasy book, and raising two wonderful children with her favorite nurse, husband Tom.
