The Reality of Side-Impact Car Accidents

Side-impact collisions are accidents where the side of one or more cars is impacted. These are often called broadside collisions or T-Bone accidents, meaning that one car was hit on the side by the front or rear of another car. These collisions often occur when someone runs a stop sign or a red light. Side-swipe accidents are also common when a driver performs a lane change without checking their mirrors or blindspots. These crashes cause great forces that can lead to serious injuries. Many people believe that side-impact accidents leave minor damages and harm, but the reality is that these collisions are actually the most deadly for children.
